Facilities
The club facilities are situated at the center of the OYC property, along the meticulously landscaped waterfront promenade and overlooking beautiful Jennings Branch cove.
The club offers several function rooms for parties of up to 120 persons.
The rooms may be configured for formal presentations or casual entertainment functions, organized with the assistance of our event planning staff and state-of-the art internet guest registration service.
Anchor Room: 2,400 sq ft tastefully decorated room with fireplace, built-in bar and stage with baby grand player piano. Equipped with state-of-the art AV system, including a 7' x 14' screen. The Anchor Room comes furnished with the following AV equipment at no charge: Multi-media projection system, Electro-Voice (EV) sound system, DVD player, cable TV, Wi-Fi, wireless microphone and credenza and computer. Standard furnishing is an elegan t group entertainment setup including four generously appointed seating areas in addition there is a oversized glass access door for outside seating or displaying large objects inside the Anchor Room.
Lounge & Kitchen: Connected 20' x 40' casual entertainment area and furnished kitchen facility provides a nice layout for reunions or smaller parties. Windows overlook a covered veranda for a charming lake view.
Veranda: 900 sq ft covered area with comfortable seating overlooking beautiful Jennings Branch Cove and the start/finish line for numerous sailboat races held throughout the year. Barbeque pit, kitchen access and walkway connecting to the pool area.
Pool Area: Heated pool at the center of a gated, nicely landscaped 5,000 sq ft gathering area. Easy access to the veranda, fitness facility and Anchor Room. The open-firepit is perfect for cooking hot dogs, making smores or roasting chestnuts.
Café & Patio: (Lower Level) Casual inside dining with additional seating on the covered patio or by the water's edge with golf-cart access to the promenade, docks and parking areas.
Lodging: Located on Dock W, the DockHouse features a comfortably furnished entertainment area with (electric) fireplace and causal seating, game table, TV, and internet access, a marine head and washbasin (Dressing rooms and showers located in the club house). The Dock House features 2 bedrooms and sleep accommodations up to 8 persons (1 queen bed, 2 bunk beds, 2 sleeper sofas).
